Impact the future of Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal as a senior graphic design/web content manager for Career-Long Learning Curriculum (CLLC) development.
Work with the program lead, process facilitators, subject matter experts, and side-by-side with the Center for Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Diving (CEODD) staff to create the next version of Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) for EOD and ND ratings.
You will serve in this position located at the Naval Support Activity in Panama City Beach, FL.
What you’ll do as an RRL/CLLC graphic design/web content manager: Produce and maintain Navy web pages, intranet, and content for the EOD and ND rates and CEODD requirements.
Technical information will be provided by subject matter experts as required.
Create web-based delivery methods for CEODD/LS (learning sites) for information, required training, learning objectives, student control, student information, and digital content created by the Navy, NETC, CEODD/LS on Navy-owned/managed and approved websites.
Manage CEODD and its learning sites command-level Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 sites.
Support CEODD staff with department-level Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 applications use and development.
Update Navy and DOD websites with CEODD domain information.
Integrate CEODD domain with Navy and DOD web-based services as required.
Advise CEODD staff on modernization requirements to maintain relevant web-based capabilities to meet current and future needs.
Work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures for web content maintenance within CEODD domain.
Ensure all work is reviewed for accuracy and approved prior to submission/posting.
Design page layouts and graphics for website(s), as well as optimize web architecture for navigability by web browsers.
Provide advice, guidance, and training on using the websites and web-based applications.
Meet with customer and contractor personnel to discuss and review task requirements, performance, and deliverables.
This position requires travel, approximately 50% time local and 10% time other travel.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 5-7 years of experience, or a master's and 3-5 years of experience.
Experience in graphics, layout, scripting, and programming, as well as development involving compatibility and seamless integration with various technologies such as Java and ColdFusion.
Expertise in creating web front-end user interfaces to new or existing databases using a combination of HTML, SQL, C, VB or other languages to make business applications accessible.
Experience supporting US Government clients.
Experience coordinating across multiple organizations.
Excellent verbal, presentation, writing, and customer service skills; and leadership skills, including personnel management and project/task management to accomplish contract requirements.
