These are a born together, one owner kit.
Silver sparkle original wrap, no modifications, or extra holes in the shells, removed one lug to see that there is almost ZERO fade in the wrap, all seams are tight, only missing a small section of inlay on the batter hoop under the bass pedal area.
Tall Boy hoops on all drums, Jasper shells with flat gray interiors, both toms have internal tone controls, paper tags in all 4 drums.
Builders initial F on bass drum & snare is Frank Walters (pictured).
The, 13" tom builders inital C is Carl Ashman (no picture available).
Collets in good working order, no cracks, splits or seam issues.
Original tension rods on all drums.
Shell sizes are 20"x14" F No.
41313, 13"x9" C No.
26321, 16"x16" No.
26440, & 5"x14" F No.
6240 Powertone snare drum.
I removed one lug to inspect and there is almost ZERO color fade.
The original bread & butter lugs are in great condition, free of any cracks that I can see on the toms, bass drums shows some splits which can be expected on a 60+ year old
kit.
The bearing edges are perfect, drums tune up well and sound amazing, this kit is simply stunning in every way.
